Matilda Drummond, MSc Founder

Matilda founded Drummond Risk & Resilience LLC after recognizing a consistent gap in how organizations anticipate and manage internal and external threats. With an MSc in International Security and Risk from the University of Southampton, she has spent her career practicing risk management across a diverse range of industries. Matilda is a vocal advocate for the early and robust adoption of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Her approach focuses on moving beyond simple compliance, instead helping organizations leverage their risk management data to generate positive outcomes in funding, preparedness, and strategic planning.​

Outside of her consultancy, Matilda is deeply committed to the non-profit sector. She serves as a Non-Executive Director and Trustee, utilizing her expertise to strengthen charitable governance. She has a long history of both professional and volunteer work with non-profits, with a particular dedication to the field of suicide prevention.

When she isn't working with boards or assessing risk frameworks, Matilda prioritizes time outdoors. She is an active hiker and astronomer who enjoys exploring.
